Hillhurst Fix & Finish is celebrating our 10th year in business! We are pleased to continue to be busy in this economy and are thrilled to boast of our new, expanded location. Visit our new 2500 sq ft shop, located at 1180 Whittier Highway (Route 25) in Moultonborough. We have expanded our services and have added a new state of the art paint booth. We have a showroom for selling restored furniture and a full line of samples to choose the color of your restored furniture.

Jim and Kristen Currier started the business in 2002 after seeing a lack of quality refinishing options in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire.
Jim started his love for working with wood as a teenager, but didn't find his niche until about 15 years ago. As his carpentry and fine woodworking skills developed so did his quest for finishing techniques. Jim gained furniture specific training at a local furniture store where he was service manager and headed up quality control for all furniture sold. He was able to mentor under a 35 year finishing veteran of Ethan Allen.

Larry joins our team as part of our expansion at our new location. Larry has carpentry and building experience and is enjoying the diversity of applying his skills to furniture.

We have a number of people in our network that help us on a regular basis and our combined expertise of over 60 years of woodworking and finishing experience ensure that we can handle all of your restoration needs, big and small.

Being students of the business is a philosophy we all share. We are always looking for the latest products and techniques to better serve our customers and to provide more efficient ways to keep our costs as low as they can be.
